Helpers
We currently have a large number of members and have a great turn out at events and training sessions, however these can not be conducted without willing volunteers. Each year members will be asked to help out at events as part of their membership. If each member helps out at just one event, we would have enough helpers to keep running these events for the whole year. Without members help we an not continue to run the number of events currently on offer. All helpers are very much appreciated, fed and watered, and in return receive priority on entries for events and training sessions.

No need for tweed - just look smart - no pink tops!
Followed by a BBQ.
Chose from the following 4 tests - Intro 1, Prelim 2, Novice 28 or E42.
To be ridden on a surface.
Members £20, non members £25 - including the BBQ

British Riding Clubs NAF Five Star National Horse Trials Championships at Swalcliffe Park 2019

What a fantastic weekend KVRC have just had at the BRC NAF Five Star National Horse Trials Championships at Swalclife Park Equestrian near Banbury.
4 KVRC riders took part, all as individuals. Julian Lavender riding Kings Cross in the 80 Open, run over 2 days, completed on a great score of 39, to finish 9th overall.
Luke Bull on Langson Bluebell in the Junior 90, again run over 2 days, including Roads and Tracks and Steeplechase, finished 6th in his arena on a score of 41.3, 24th overall.
I took part in the 100 on Pip, which along with Hannah Chase competing in the 100+, was run over 3 days and included 2 vets inspections, road and tracks and steeplechase. We had a very interesting and exciting dressage test, 3.8 xc and 2 down SJ finished out of the running on 49.2 in 45th place. But the best result of the weekend was Hannah and Chase The Artist who completed on a fantastic score of 28.8 to finish 3rd in her arena and 4th overall.
I really would recommend to any members thinking about it for next year, have a go, it really is the most fantastic weekend and is a true championship venue.
